Dr. Sherry B. Scott, is founder of SOAR Ministries Inc. (Supportive Opportunities for Advancement and Renewal). Dr. Scott taught in the Dept of occupational therapy, health & wellness and communication for 20 years at Howard University in Washington DC. Dr Scott continues to provide OT intervention with special needs children and adults through direct and consultation services. She also teaches dance fitness to seniors. 

SOAR Ministries Inc. Kingdom Advancement & Renewal  Centers (Virginia retreat centers) provide training and  faith-based therapeutic intervention services for special needs and under represented groups including seniors and children toward restoring physical fitness and recreation while promoting spiritual health. SOAR also assist seniors with falls prevention programs utilizing social media with current smart home technologies.
